Acceptable use policy
Last updated 6 November 2026. Questions: support@vidogrid.com.
This policy is part of the terms of service. It says what you may not make with VidoGrid, how we check, and what happens when something breaks the rules. It applies to prompts, uploaded images and every result.
Content you may not create
- Sexual or NSFW content: nudity, sexual acts, sexualised poses, fetish content, or anything made for adult sites.
- Violence and gore: graphic injury, mutilation, torture or killing shown realistically, and content that celebrates or incites violence.
- Hate: content that attacks or demeans people for their race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability or other protected trait, and hate symbols or extremist propaganda.
- Child safety: any sexual, sexualised or exploitative depiction of anyone under 18, including drawn, animated or “aged-up” versions. We report such material to the relevant authorities.
- Deepfakes and impersonation: swapping faces, removing clothes from photos of real people, putting real people into kissing, hugging or other intimate scenes, or showing a real person saying or doing something they did not say or do. This applies to public figures and private people alike, with or without their consent.
- Copyright and trademark infringement: copyrighted characters, other companies’ logos and branded products, or uploads you do not have the right to use.
Also not allowed: content designed to mislead people about real events, elections, public health or emergencies; harassment, threats or self-harm encouragement; and anything illegal where you live or against the model provider’s usage policies.
Uploading photos of people
You may upload a photo of a real person only if it is you, or every person shown has agreed. Before your first upload you confirm this in the studio. Uploading photos of other people without their permission is a breach of this policy even if the result looks harmless.
How we check
- Every prompt goes through our own word rules and the content-safety checks of our payment partners, Waffo (Prompt Sift) and Creem (Moderation API), before any model sees it.
- Every result is reviewed by an automated vision check before it appears in your studio. Results that fail are deleted, not shown, and their credits are returned.
- The model providers run their own safety filters as well.
- We keep a record of these checks so we can investigate reports and answer our payment partners.
What happens when the rules are broken
We remove the content. Depending on how serious it is, we may also suspend or close the account, forfeit its remaining credits, and report it to the authorities when the law requires it. Repeated attempts to get around the checks count as a violation in themselves.
Reporting and appeals
To report content made with VidoGrid, or to appeal a decision about your account, email support@vidogrid.com. Include the link or the frame number and what is wrong. A person reads every report; we act on clear violations right away and reply within two business days.
AI-generated content
Everything the studio makes is generated by AI and is labelled that way in the studio. Do not present it as real footage or as the work of a real person, and label it where a platform or the law requires.
